By achieving net zero consumption and 100% conservation humans can replenish what they need to extract from nature. Waste is a profitable product under the present supply & demand economic system benefiting a few and creating despair for most of humanity. Fish represent the most important bounty of nature with two-thirds of the worlds population relying on our oceans, lakes and rivers for food. Yet today the human species is the sole cause of the irreversible destruction of this natural resource as a result of human pollution and over harvesting without replenishment. Water is humanities toilet, garbage disposal and primary source of food. These uses are rapidly overlapping one another. The end result is the destruction of what we consider the highest form of life on earth BY the self-proclaimed highest form of life – each of us. One question for humanity to ponder – what do humans contribute to earth other than to ultimately become food for microscopic forms of life? The food chain does not end with humanity – it begins and it ends at the bottom. All links in the chain are productive but one, the human link. Knowledge is a product of life – not death. The simplest forms of life have a role to play in natures never ending cycle of life. What is our role? to destroy nature?
